1970 Honda CB750K · Handlebar Clamps Buying guide
A fresh finish does not make the three listings equivalent. Their supplied hardware and design details differ, so compare the components already on the bike with the contents and intended arrangement described for each option.
If the clamp body is being retained, the separate hardware set may be the relevant listing to review. It describes four chrome-plated bolts and four washers for stock-type clamps. Check the fitted clamp and its application before treating those fittings as universal hardware for a custom arrangement.
The chrome top clamp is identified as custom and supplies plated Allen socket bolts. Its lack of built-in indicator lamps is another stated feature to consider. Compare the product with the cockpit already on the motorcycle, and use appropriate service information for mounting procedures and specifications.
Do not assume it will. The four-bolt set is specified for stock-type clamps. Compare bolt diameter, thread, under-head length, washer seat and clamp depth against the custom parts before ordering; a shared handlebar diameter does not establish fastener compatibility.
The black clamp description directs buyers to the separate hardware listing. Check the contents of both products when planning a complete mounting refresh, rather than assuming the clamp listing supplies the same fittings as the custom chrome option.
It includes Allen socket bolts and has no built-in indicator lamps. Compare those details with your existing cockpit before choosing it instead of the stock-type black clamps.
