1969 Honda CB750K · Cam chain parts Buying guide

Match the chain, guide and joining-link specification

The early guide and two rivet-link listings have different applications. Compare the actual chain designation and component references before ordering parts for the engine timing system.

The joining link must match its named chain

The D.I.D. 219T rivet-link listing is intended for the listed 219T chain. A separate heavy-duty link names the BS05MH chain specification. Both descriptions warn that older original chains may differ. Use the exact chain designation and service requirements rather than choosing a link by appearance.

Identify the early guide before ordering

The early cam chain guide listing specifically includes 1969–71 CB750K engines. Compare its replacement reference with the guide fitted to the engine; a broad SOHC label does not establish that every guide is interchangeable. Have the related rollers, pins and cushioning components assessed during the planned engine work.

Common questions

Is the featured cam chain an endless chain?

The listing describes it as non-endless and includes a clip joining link. A separate matching rivet link is also listed. Confirm the chain and joining method required for the repair with the applicable service information.

Can either rivet link be used on the same chain?

No blanket interchange is stated. One link specifies the D.I.D. 219T chain and the other specifies the heavy-duty BS05MH chain. The descriptions also caution that older original chains may differ from these replacement designs.

Are the roller-shaft rubber cushions sold individually?

The linked roller-shaft cushions come in a pack of two and replace reference 14607-300-000. Check that pack before adding another pair to the same timing-parts order.
