Small part, but an important one. This float bowl drain screw with included O-ring allows you to properly drain the carburetor bowl without leaks, making maintenance and storage a lot easier.

Over time, original screws and seals can wear down, strip, or stop sealing correctly. Replacing them helps keep fuel contained and makes routine carb service more straightforward.

One stock-type drain screw with one O-ring is included. Listed four-cylinder models need four to replace every carburetor drain screw, twin-cylinder models need two, and listed CB125 single-cylinder models need one.

Why must the drain screw be matched to the carburetor rather than only the motorcycle?

Honda used different carburetor families across models and years. Compare screw thread, tip, head and O-ring position with the removed part and confirm the carburetor identification before installation.

How tight should a carburetor drain screw be?

Seat it only enough to seal the O-ring; excessive torque can damage the screw or crack the float bowl. Replace a hardened O-ring, clean the seat and test for fuel leakage before riding.
