Restripe your CB550K side covers with these Honda CB550K (1977-78) Side Cover Stripe Decals (Stickers).

Note: stripes are 2 pieces and must be carefully joined, as was done by the manufacturer.

These reproductions will add the finishing touch to your restoration. These decals are no longer available from the manufacturer. All decals are "printed" on the highest-quality materials from companies such as 3M and Avery. All decals have a protective coating to resist scratching and to protect colors from UV rays. These decals are adhesive-backed for simple application.

Economy Shipping

We offer Economy Canada Post shipping at checkout for select small items. If your order applies for Post Economy shipping it will show up at checkout as an option. Canada Post Economy shipping does not include tracking or insurance. It typically takes 1-3 weeks for delivery.

Which side covers use these stripe decals?

The reproduction stripes are shaped for the left and right side covers on 1977-1978 Honda CB550K models.

Do the CB550K side-cover stripes require joining?

Yes. The stripes are supplied in two sections that must be carefully joined to reproduce the factory layout. Align the complete stripe on each cover before application.

How should the side covers be prepared before installing the stripes?

Apply the decals only to fully cured paint. Photograph and measure the original placement, remove wax and residue with a paint-safe cleaner, dry-fit every piece and align it with low-tack tape before exposing the adhesive. The reproduction decals use 3M or Avery material with a protective coating for scratch and UV resistance. Do not assume a particular clear coat is compatible; test the complete paint, decal and clear system before coating finished parts.
