1980 Honda CB650 — Soupapes et composants de distribution
Prepare a 1980 CB650 cylinder-head order from the measured valve and guide condition. Intake and exhaust valves have separate references. Stem seals can be ordered individually or as an eight-piece Viton package, so choose the repair quantity without confusing it with the number supplied.

1980 Honda CB650 · Valve & Stem-Seal Parts Buying guide
Choose each head component for its own position
An intake valve, an exhaust valve and a stem seal address different replacement needs. Let the head inspection establish which pieces are required before choosing between a full seal set and individual seals.
The intake replacement references 14711-426-003; the exhaust references 14721-426-003. Both are listed for the CB650 application. Compare the actual cylinder head and removed components rather than transferring another Honda model’s valve specifications. Each valve is sold individually; four intake valves and four exhaust valves replace all eight positions.
Separate seal quantity from sealing material
The Kibblewhite product supplies eight Viton seals. The standard seal linked below is sold individually. Count the needed positions before ordering either option, keeping the supplied eight-piece set separate from individual replacement quantities.
Ordering questions
What else should be checked when a valve is replaced?
Inspect the valve seat, spring, retainer and keepers; for an exhaust valve, also check installed height. Have the seat machined as needed, then set cam timing and valve clearance to Honda specifications after assembly.
What does the Viton package contain?
It contains eight Kibblewhite Viton valve-stem seals. It does not establish that valves or guides are included or that those existing components are within service limits.
Can new seals substitute for valve-guide work?
Measure valve-stem-to-guide clearance and have excessive guide wear corrected. New valves or stem seals do not establish that the guides are serviceable.
