Match the control side and external wiring

These black switch assemblies are separate left- and right-side choices. Their wiring route matters as much as their appearance when replacing damaged controls or returning a modified motorcycle to a familiar layout.

Use the side-specific replacement

The left assembly handles the turn-signal, horn and lighting controls. The right assembly belongs on the brake side. Compare the side and functions of the damaged control before ordering; the two product choices are separate assemblies rather than a combined left-and-right kit.

Check the wiring route on changed bars

Both assemblies are specified for external handlebar wiring. If your current installation routes wires through the bar, compare how the replacement leads will run and connect before committing to the parts. Use the motorcycle’s wiring diagram and the product instructions to verify connections.

Common buying questions

Are both sides included in one purchase?

The left and right assemblies are separate product choices. Choose the clutch-side or brake-side part you need, or select both if both controls require replacement. Each side has its own wiring and functions.

Do these assemblies use wiring inside the handlebar?

No. Both replacements are specified with wiring outside the handlebar. Compare the route on your motorcycle before ordering, particularly if custom bars or an earlier owner’s internal-wiring conversion are still fitted.

Can I match a switch by connector colour alone?

Compare the housing, occupied positions and circuit functions with the wiring diagram. Colour alone is not enough where a harness has been altered. Confirm the existing connection before buying or installing either side-specific assembly.
