The main-harness order does not include the switches, relays or separate sub-harnesses. Compare each product’s own application and connector details when planning a wider electrical renewal, especially where components have been changed.

Account for what the main-harness order covers

Loom 73-0130 supplies one main harness referencing 32100-426-770. Switches, relays, other electrical components and separate sub-harnesses are not included. The linked switch 12-0051 is a separate assembly with fork lock and keys; starter brush set 24-2021 is separately specified for a Mitsuba two-brush motor.

Keep fuse-box and regulator specifications separate

Fuse box 73-0126 references 38200-425-005 and includes 10-amp fuses. Regulator 24-2030 references 31600-460-731 / 31600-426-000, with five wires in a six-prong housing and three in a four-prong housing. Compare those details with the fitted components rather than treating a loom purchase as a complete electrical-component package.

Common buying questions

Does the fuse box’s 1979–80 application make the main loom a two-year fit?

No such extension is established. The fuse box lists both years, while loom 73-0130 specifically lists the 1979 CB650 and warns that other years use a different harness reference. Select the loom from its own application rather than a year range shared by a separate electrical part.

Will a new main loom make the listed flasher relay suitable for LED signals?

The relay’s listing expressly excludes custom LED lights. It specifies a 12V/23W three-prong relay with an attached rubber mount. A main-loom order does not establish compatibility with changed lamps; choose a relay whose specification covers the lighting actually fitted.
