Separate the float from the float valve

A replacement float and the float needle-and-seat assembly are different purchases. Identify which component needs attention before combining them; replacing one does not establish that the other is included.

Buy the seal package that matches the repair

The connector O-ring kit includes both connector tube O-rings and bowl drain seals. The individual drain screw already includes an O-ring. Compare those contents with the pieces you are replacing so you do not order a complete seal package for the wrong location.

Questions about floats & carb components

Is the float pin included?

Yes. The carb float listing explicitly includes the pin and gives reference 16013-300-004. Compare the replacement float with the one removed, particularly when the motorcycle has a replacement carburetor rack. Order the quantity required for your repair.

Will the twelve-piece seal kit also supply new drain screws?

The twelve-piece kit supplies eight connector-tube O-rings and four bowl drain seals. A damaged drain screw requires the separate screw-with-O-ring product, sold individually.

How many floats does the listed application require?

The float application specifies four floats per motorcycle. Order for the number being replaced rather than assuming the product is a complete four-float package.
