Acquired a discarded 1982 CB750C import from a friend who wanted to see it cared for again. I'm capable but no mechanic, so up to the challenge I decided to give it a go.
My plan was always to get it presentable and running on a budget and decide what to do from there.
To get it presentable and running I have, replaced battery, coils, leads, plugs, chain, all cables, left handlebar switch, some rewiring, starter solenoid, reset pulsars, overhauled/replaced calipers, front and rear brakes, master cylinder, rebuilt carbs, painted fender/tank, chain guard, wired in a coil bypass relay and refurbished the seat.
Things I need to do - Tighten chain tensioners, check/replace shims, replace kill switch, repair mufflers and overhaul forks.
Regards,
Paul
