One set is sold here. It is MPH, for the 1975-76 CB500T speedometer and tach. Mounting holes are pre-cut. You cut the odometer and tripmeter openings after the decal is on, and you remove the old printing first. It illuminates only on the original face.

Buy this set if the stock gauges should read miles. It is not a KPH face and it is not a new mini gauge. Plan on opening both instruments.

The illumination rule

The description says the decal must be applied over the original gauge face to illuminate. Painting the dial or sticking this over a mini gauge is outside what that note covers. Remove the original printed information before you apply it.

What you still have to cut

Mounting holes are pre-cut. Openings for the odometer and the tripmeter are not. Cut those after the decal is in place. Both the speedometer and the tach are in the set, so both instruments come apart.

Face decal questions

Is this KPH?

No. It is the MPH set for the 1975-76 CB500T speedometer and tach.

Do I have to open the gauges?

Yes. Disassembly is required, and the decal has to go on the original face if you want it to illuminate.

Are the odometer windows pre-cut?

Mounting holes are pre-cut. The odometer and tripmeter openings must be cut after you apply the decal.
