Check the actual fork tubes before ordering seals for your 1981 Honda CB650. The selected oil seals have a defined 35 × 48 × 10.5/11 mm size, and the dust seals are a separate pair. A swapped front end needs its own measurements.

Oil seals and dust seals occupy different positions in the fork assembly. Inspect the tubes and existing seal markings, then decide which pieces the service requires before dismantling.
The selected oil-seal size is 35 × 48 × 10.5/11 mm. Compare all dimensions with the removed seal and identify the actual fork assembly. The motorcycle’s year is useful only when the fitted front end matches that application.
Inspect dust seals during the job
The Japanese-made dust-seal package contains two pieces. Check these protective covers alongside the oil seals and tube surfaces. Use the CB650 service manual or the fitted fork manufacturer’s instructions for inspection, fluid and assembly specifications.
Ordering questions
Does 10.5/11 mm mean I can choose either seal height?
The listing gives the combined size 35 × 48 × 10.5/11 mm but does not explain the slash or describe alternative seals in the pack. Obtain a dimensioned specification before treating either figure as a selectable substitute for a different fork.
Will replacing only the dust seals address an oil leak?
The dust-seal listing describes keeping dirt away from the fork tubes and seals; the oil-seal listing addresses oil loss at the tubes. Identify the leaking position and inspect the fork before ordering. The separate dust-seal pair should not be treated as a replacement for the oil seals.
Can a 35 mm tube alone prove that these seals fit?
Check the complete seal dimensions and fork application as well. The selected oil seal is 35 × 48 × 10.5/11 mm, so tube diameter is only part of the comparison.
