Floats, drain seals and accelerator-pump diaphragms occupy different positions. Check the old pieces before ordering, with particular care over the pump rod length and the quantities supplied.
CB650 application of the featured diaphragm is conditional on an 89mm end-to-end pin. The package contains the diaphragm with rod and a bellows rubber. Measure the removed assembly before ordering rather than treating the broad model list as enough.
Separate drain repair from float replacement
The float is supplied with its pin, with four floats specified per motorcycle. The drain screw is sold individually with an O-ring. A separate four-pack of drain O-rings suits repairs where the screw itself can be retained after inspection.
Buying questions
Will the pump diaphragm fit every CB650 carburetor?
CB650 use of this diaphragm requires an 89mm end-to-end pin. Measure the old diaphragm and compare the installed carburetor arrangement before selecting the replacement.
Can I use one float-height setting for every carburetor listed with this float?
Use the Honda specification for the exact carburetor fitted rather than borrowing a setting from another application. Check free movement of the float and valve, verify the specified float height or fuel level, and confirm fuel shuts off without leakage before use.
What if the bowl drain still leaks after replacing its screw or O-ring?
Inspect the screw tip, O-ring groove, bowl seat and surrounding bowl for damage or debris. A new seal cannot repair a damaged mating surface. Avoid using extra tightening force to mask the leak; it can damage the screw or bowl.
