1970 Honda CB750K · Warning & Service Labels Buying guide

Review every label against the part it will identify

The set covers several locations, including pairs for the helmet holders and rear shocks. Compare the supplied images and stated contents with the motorcycle so the labels reflect the fittings actually being restored.

Treat the contents as a location checklist

The product lists an information label, battery warning, engine-oil information and exhaust-modification warning, plus two helmet-holder and two rear-shock decals. Use that list to compare the actual restoration locations. It is more useful than assuming every label belongs on any component fitted to a motorcycle with the same year.

Keep printed labels separate from maintenance decisions

These labels reproduce early information and warning details, but component changes can affect the service information relevant to your bike. Use the correct manual and the fitted component instructions for maintenance specifications. The decal set itself should not be used to establish settings for changed tires, shocks or other equipment.

Warning & Service Labels: buying questions

What should I record before removing the original labels?

Photograph each original label square-on and note its position relative to seams, brackets or frame features before stripping paint. Compare the wording and location with the reproduction set; the product notes that market and version details can differ.

Does the 1970 year alone confirm this label set?

The product is specifically described as the 1969–70 CB750K0 reproduction set. Match that version, the original label wording and the components retained on the motorcycle. A 1970 registration alone does not establish that a later or altered assembly uses the same labels.

Should I apply the shock decals to aftermarket shocks?

The supplied shock labels identify Showa De Carbon. Compare that identity with the shocks actually fitted before application. A model-year restoration set does not make a brand-specific label appropriate for every aftermarket replacement shock.
