1970 Honda CB750K · Footrests, Controls & Stands Buying guide

Footrest and kickstarter rubbers renew the contact surfaces described in their listings. A gear lever or stand pivot is a different part. Compare the rubber shape and existing component, then choose separate hardware only where the assessed service work calls for it.
The TC Bros. forward-control kit requires the separately sold linkage kit 73-1164 and a tab welded to the stock brake pedal. Those requirements make it a fabrication project as well as a change in foot position. Review the installation instructions and have the welding handled by a qualified fabricator before choosing it for the bike.
The featured gear change lever is described as a lever with rubber, made from chrome-plated steel. Separate shift rubber listings are also available. Compare the lever shape and application before choosing a complete lever or rubber-only replacement.
Identify the spring by its job: the joint spring sits at the external knuckle pin, the stopper spring works with a steel ball, and the return and ratchet springs serve the internal mechanism. Their separate Honda references and locations matter more than a similar appearance. Have the fault identified before ordering a spring.
They are separate products with different descriptions and replacement references. The center stand also has a separate spring attachment plate. Identify the stand and fitted mounting point before choosing the spring or associated hardware.
