1970 Honda CB750K · Exhaust Systems Buying guide
This chrome reproduction set is an early 300-style option for the stated 1969–71 application. Installation hardware is separate, so account for the fittings you can retain before completing the order.
Inspect the mounting points, connecting tubes and flange pieces on the existing exhaust. If earlier work changed those fittings, establish which stock-type pieces the replacement will require before the motorcycle is dismantled.
The product FAQ says this reproduction set has built-in internal baffles that are not designed to be removed or replaced. The separate genuine Honda diffuser is for original HM300 pipes, so do not add it as a routine service part for these reproduction mufflers.
The listing states that hardware is sold separately. Review the fittings already on the motorcycle and the relevant stock-type mounting products before completing the order, including any flange or connecting components required for the planned replacement.
The listing says the baffles are built in and are not designed to be removed or replaced. A separately offered original-HM300 diffuser does not turn this reproduction set into a removable-baffle design.
It is a chrome reproduction set. That distinction matters if your restoration requires original Honda components rather than an early-style replacement.
