1969 Honda CB750K · Mufflers, Baffles & Shields Buying guide

Match the baffle or shield to the muffler you have

Internal diffusers, connecting tubes and external heat shields are separate parts. A replacement muffler can also change the compatibility checks, so compare the actual pipe style before selecting related fittings.

Check internal parts against the pipe itself

The genuine Honda diffuser is described for original HM300-style pipes. Compare the muffler style and reference in the full product listing, especially after an exhaust replacement. Do not assume an internal baffle fits merely because another muffler product shares the same motorcycle model range.

Choose shield and hardware purchases deliberately

The shield-with-hardware listing includes a shield and its fitting pieces; the hardware-only set is for attaching one existing shield. Review what you already have before choosing between them. Connecting tubes are another separate purchase, with their own stock OEM exhaust requirement and supplied contents.

Questions before ordering

Will the diffuser fit aftermarket mufflers?

The listing specifies original HM300-style CB750K0–K1 pipes and asks buyers to compare the muffler style and Honda reference. It does not make a universal aftermarket claim, so verify replacement pipes before selecting this internal component.

What does the hardware-only shield set cover?

The twelve-piece set attaches one stock muffler shield and includes three screws, three metal washers and six fibre spacers. The listing calls for two sets when replacing the hardware for both stock-type shields.

How many connecting-tube sets cover the described stock exhaust?

Each connecting-tube set contains one tube, one band clamp and one screw. Its application calls for two sets per bike. Order for the joints being renewed and check the fitted exhaust before relying on that stock-type quantity.
