Attached is a photo of my recently purchased 1979 Honda CB750L, a limited edition, 10th anniversary model. The bike is all original with the exception of the new Avon tires. It has 7,795 total miles so the previous owner really babied the bike. The bike is in near mint condition.
My interest in the model goes back to 1979 when I purchased the same model new. I reluctantly sold it several years later when the birth of my children and three near accidents (careless car drivers) encouraged me to take less risks, although I was a USAF fighter pilot.
Should I be lucky enough to find one, I will replace the upper right exhaust pipe which has been professionally patched. Other than that, the bike needs nothing, runs great, looks great, and really brings back the memories.
