Plan the custom gauge separately from original-style trim

The mini speedometer has its own drive calibration and mounting requirements. A lower-cover application identifies a housing-restoration part, not a verified accessory for the custom gauge.

Compare the complete mini-gauge specification

The chrome-body mini gauges have black faces, LED illumination and high-beam, neutral, oil-pressure and turn-signal indicators. MPH unit 03-0725 and KPH unit 03-0724 each include a V-shaped plate; the handlebar mounting bracket is separate. Both are described as custom instruments rather than stock-type replacements.

Match the lower cover to the retained speedometer

The aftermarket speedometer cover replaces 37236-426-000 and is sold individually. Compare its shape, mounting tabs and cable or wiring openings with the housing being retained; it is identified separately from tachometer trim.

Do the built-in indicators make the mini speedometer a plug-in replacement?
