For fork service on the 1982 standard CB650, compare the existing seal dimensions and dust-seal shape before ordering. The listed oil seals and dust seals are separate sets. A replacement front end needs identification from its own components, not just the frame year.

The selected oil-seal set has explicit dimensions, while the dust-seal pack contains two pieces. Inspect the fork surfaces and housings before assuming fresh rubber alone completes the repair.
The specification includes 35 mm, 48 mm and 10.5/11 mm dimensions. Compare the old seal and fork assembly carefully, particularly when the front end’s history is unknown. Do not choose a seal from tube diameter alone when the other dimensions may differ.
Inspect the forks before fitting new rubber
Oil and dust seals cannot correct damaged sliding surfaces or an unsuitable housing. Have the fork condition assessed and follow the service procedure for installation. Choose the dust-seal pair separately when those outer protective pieces are hardened, cracked or damaged.
Buying questions
Does 10.5/11 mm mean I can choose either seal height?
The listing gives the combined size 35 × 48 × 10.5/11 mm but does not explain the slash or describe alternative seals in the pack. Obtain a dimensioned specification before treating either figure as a selectable substitute for a different fork.
Will replacing only the dust seals address an oil leak?
The dust-seal listing describes keeping dirt away from the fork tubes and seals; the oil-seal listing addresses oil loss at the tubes. Identify the leaking position and inspect the fork before ordering. The separate dust-seal pair should not be treated as a replacement for the oil seals.
Can I use the same seals after a fork swap?
Identify the replacement forks and measure their seals first. The 1982 standard CB650 application does not prove compatibility with a different front-end assembly.
