Honda lists the 2002–03 fork separately from the revised 2004 assembly. Use the early fork parts listing and service information; the shared 43 mm tool size does not make the later seals or internal parts interchangeable.

The driver does one job

The 43 mm driver is an installation tool intended to seat the seal squarely without striking its sealing lip directly. It does not include oil seals or dust seals. Clean, undamaged sealing surfaces and the correct service procedure still matter.

The early and revised forks need separate parts checks

Honda lists the 2002–03 fork separately from the revised 2004 assembly. Use the early fork parts listing and service information; the shared 43 mm tool size does not make the later seals or internal parts interchangeable. Obtain oil type, fill quantity and level from service information for the exact fork. A 43 mm tube diameter alone does not supply those specifications.

Practical questions

Are seals included, or is this just the driver?

It is the driver only. The product listing explicitly excludes oil seals and dust seals; select those parts separately for the original or replacement fork assembly.

Can I buy any 43 mm seal listed for a later 919?

No. Honda's catalogue separates the 2002–03 fork from the revised 2004 assembly and lists different seal sets. Match the exact fork application; the driver's 43 mm size is not proof that all 43 mm seals interchange.

Does a 43 mm driver tell me how much fork oil to add?

No. Oil quantity and level are separate service specifications. Use the correct manual for the fitted fork and follow its measuring conditions; do not copy a fill amount merely because another fork uses the same driver.
