1972 Honda CB750K · Fork & Suspension Tools Buying guide
A seal driver is selected for its fork application; a cap wrench is selected for the cap hex. Those measurements describe different features and should be checked independently on the installed forks.
The driver listing names 35mm and 36mm fork applications, while the wrench listing names a 24mm cap hex. These are different measurements. Replacement forks or aftermarket caps can change what is fitted, so check the actual parts rather than relying only on a model label.
A fork seal driver and cap wrench do not include the replacement seals, caps or other fork components. Decide which service parts the job needs, then check the tools for the fitted assembly. Avoid treating a tool purchase as a suspension-repair kit.
Fork tube diameter and cap hex size are different measurements. The featured wrench is listed for a 24mm cap hex. Measure the actual cap before selecting a wrench, especially if the forks have been changed.
The driver listing describes the installation tool, not replacement seals. Choose the seals separately using the fork assembly and seal specifications, then check that the driver suits the fork application being serviced.
Use the year to find relevant listings, then compare the tool specification with the installed forks and caps. Previous changes to those parts can affect the required tool even when the motorcycle remains a 1972 CB750K.
