1976 Honda CB750A · Carb Holders Buying guide
This four-piece Hondamatic holder set is explicitly listed for 1976. It contains two holders in each replacement-reference group. Keep those pairs identified while comparing the intake parts already fitted.
Identify the two reference groups before discarding old rubber parts, particularly if the carburetors have already been removed. Compare the complete mounting arrangement when intake hardware has been changed; the frame’s model year cannot identify a substituted carburetor bank.
Check whether the existing clamps can be retained and record the side served by each type. The required clamp references and quantities belong to this holder set, rather than to every rubber connection in the intake system.
Two holders replace 16211-393-020 or 16211-393-000, and two replace 16212-393-020 or 16212-393-000. Use the full references and removed-part positions when comparing the set.
The holder listing specifies four of clamp 15-0684 for one side and four of 15-0688 for the other. They are separate purchases. Inspect the existing clamps before deciding whether both groups need renewal.
The later set is listed for 1977–78 and supplies four individually numbered holders, including separate 16213-393-010 and 16214-393-010 references. The 1976 set instead supplies two of each of its two reference groups. Match the 1976 application and fitted parts; the later year range does not establish an interchangeable set.
