Honda CB Steel Front Sprocket ~ 17 Tooth
Sold individually
Sold individually
Front sprocket designed for a range of Honda models. A critical drivetrain component, it transfers power from the engine to the chain, making proper fitment and tooth count important for performance and gearing.
Because some models used different tooth counts depending on year or setup, it’s important to verify your current sprocket and chain before ordering to ensure proper compatibility.

Confirm 17 teeth, chain pitch, spline profile, sprocket offset and retaining method against the original. CB750K fitment is limited to engines through number 1003527, and other listed CB450/CL450 applications may use different gearing.
Compared with a smaller front sprocket, 17 teeth generally lowers engine rpm at a given road speed but reduces mechanical leverage. Actual change depends on the existing front and rear tooth counts.
Inspect the chain and rear sprocket as a matched drive set. Hooked teeth, tight links or excessive chain stretch can rapidly wear a new sprocket; replace worn components together and set chain slack and alignment to Honda specifications.
