Frequently Asked Questions

How many drive-chain covers are included?

One chain case or chain-cover guard replacing Honda OEM 40510-323-000 is included, enough for one compatible 1971-1978 CB500K or CB550K.

What should be checked before installing the chain guard?

Compare mounting tabs and bolt locations, then check clearance to the chain, rear sprocket, shocks and tire through suspension travel. Correct chain adjustment is still required.
