Note: stripes are 2 pieces and must be carefully joined, as was done by the manufacturer.

These reproductions will add the finishing touch to your restoration. These decals are no longer available from the manufacturer. All decals are "printed" on the highest-quality materials from companies such as 3M and Avery. All decals have a protective coating to resist scratching and to protect colors from UV rays. These decals are adhesive-backed for simple application.

Do the CB550K tank stripes install as one continuous piece?

No. The stripes are supplied in sections that must be carefully joined to reproduce the factory layout. Dry-fit and align both sides before applying any section.

How should the painted tank be prepared before decal installation?

Apply the decals only to fully cured paint. Photograph and measure the original placement, remove wax and residue with a paint-safe cleaner, dry-fit every piece and align it with low-tack tape before exposing the adhesive.
