Frequently Asked Questions

Which Honda CB450K uses the gold gas-tank stripes?

The gold reproduction stripes are shaped for 1969-1972 Honda CB450K fuel tanks. Confirm the stripe color against the original paint scheme before ordering.

What is included with the CB450K stripe set?

The package supplies the matching gold gas-tank stripe decals. Tank paint, emblems, side-cover decals and warning labels are separate.

How should a CB450K tank be prepared before stripe installation?

Apply the decals only over clean, fully cured paint. Record the original location, dry-fit every piece and establish matching left/right reference points before exposing the adhesive. Align both tank sides from common reference points so the stripe height and fore-aft position match. The decals use 3M or Avery material with a protective coating. If a clear coat will be applied, test the complete paint, decal and clear system first because coating compatibility varies.
