Frequently Asked Questions

Will the 25H clip link join any motorcycle cam chain?

No. It must be used only with a chain that is specifically identified as 25H and has matching pitch, width, pin diameter and plate dimensions.

How many 25H connecting links are included?

One clip-style connecting link is included, enough to join one compatible 25H chain when the engine's service procedure permits a clip link.

Which way should the retaining clip face?

Follow the chain and engine service instructions. Where direction is specified, the closed end of the clip normally faces the chain's direction of travel so an obstruction cannot push against the open end.
