Description

Drop in a factory-look master cylinder with a performance piston size using this Front Brake Master Cylinder Assembly. Black body with silver lever, custom-manufactured with a 5/8" piston size for improved, more sensitive braking compared to the stock unit. Designed to look similar to the original CB750 master cylinders.

Works as a direct stock-look replacement on a wide range of classic Hondas through the mid-'70s. For some later-'70s bikes (CB750K 1978, CB750F 1977-78, CB750A 1977-78), this master cylinder does not have the brake light switch that those OEM types had, so you'll need to add our #29-7002 hydraulic brake light switch.

Note: our master cylinder reservoir cap (#29-0054) pairs beautifully with this unit for a more original look.

The master cylinder uses a 5/8-inch piston.

Does this master cylinder include a brake-light switch?

No. It does not include a brake-light switch; later applications originally equipped with one require a separate hydraulic brake-light switch.

How do I add a brake-light switch when using this master cylinder?

For later applications that require a separate switch, use banjo-bolt hydraulic switch #29-7002. It uses an M10 x 1.25 thread and replaces the existing banjo bolt at a compatible single-banjo fitting. Use the correct sealing washers, bleed the brake if the circuit is opened, and confirm firm pressure, no leaks, and correct brake-light operation before riding.
