Frequently Asked Questions

Which motorcycles use front brake hose guide 45129-300-000?

The guide replaces Honda OEM 45129-300-000 on compatible 1969-1976 CB750K, 1975-1976 CB500T and 1970-1974 CB450K models. It is a brake-hose routing guide, not a hydraulic fitting.

How many front brake hose guides are included and required?

One guide is included, and one is used at this front brake-hose routing position on one compatible motorcycle.

What should be checked after installing the front brake hose guide?

Turn the handlebars fully left and right and compress the suspension through its travel to confirm the hose does not pull tight, kink or rub the tire, fork or steering stops. Replace a cracked, swollen or abraded brake hose rather than relying on the guide to hold a damaged hose.
