Frequently Asked Questions

How many 290 mm black eye-to-clevis shocks are included?

Two black rear shocks are included. Each measures 290 mm from the center of the upper eye to the lower clevis mounting center.

What upper mounting-bushing size does the 290 mm eye-to-clevis shock use?

The upper eye has a 12 mm inside-diameter by 21 mm outside-diameter bushing. The motorcycle must also have a compatible lower clevis mounting arrangement; these shocks are not interchangeable with an eye-to-eye pair.

How does fitting 290 mm shorty shocks affect a motorcycle?

The shorter custom length lowers the rear and can change steering geometry, suspension travel, chain angle, fender clearance, and side-stand angle. Check those clearances through full travel and set both five-position preload adjusters to the same position.
