Felt seals belong to defined shaft work

The twelve-piece set is described for throttle and choke shaft areas on compatible carburetors. Identify the actual carburetor assembly and use its service information before dismantling shafts. A broad model listing does not verify every replacement or modified carburetor.

Floats, Drain Screws & Seals questions

Does the float-and-pin package also replace the fuel shut-off parts?

It contains one float and its pivot pin, without the float-valve needle, seat or bowl gasket. Four floats are used across the rack, but inspect each carburetor and its valve components separately before deciding the order quantity.

What if the bowl drain still leaks after replacing its screw or O-ring?

Inspect the screw tip, O-ring groove, bowl seat and surrounding bowl for damage or debris. A new seal cannot repair a damaged mating surface. Avoid using extra tightening force to mask the leak; it can damage the screw or bowl.

What quantity is supplied in the felt seal package?

The set contains twelve felt throttle and choke shaft seals. Compare the required application and repair scope with that package before ordering.
