1982 Honda CB650SC Nighthawk · Fuse Box & Cover Hardware Buying guide

Compare the holder and its condition before ordering

The ordinary assembly and a discounted damaged-tab version are distinct purchase choices. The featured cover screws are a separate two-piece package, so check the actual mounting and fastener needs when preparing the repair.

Treat installed fuses as package contents

The assembly includes 15A fuses. Confirm the circuit’s specified protection before service, particularly with altered wiring. Do not increase a rating to suppress repeated failures or assume a new holder identifies the cause of heat damage or an electrical fault.

Check damaged-mount stock separately

The clearance variant is described with damaged or missing mounting tabs. The ordinary featured assembly is a different product. Consider secure mounting and the actual condition requirement rather than assuming similar electrical contents make the two purchase options equivalent.

Fuse Box & Cover Hardware questions

What needs checking before a replacement fuse box is energized?

Disconnect the battery, then inspect the old box, terminals and nearby harness for heat damage, corrosion, loose connections or pinched wiring. Correct the underlying fault before energizing the replacement.

How many cover screws are in the separate set?

Two black screws are supplied, referencing 93700-05020-0G. Compare the current cover and its threads before selecting the package.

What should I do if a fuse keeps blowing?

Use only the rating specified for that circuit and motorcycle. Repeated fuse failure calls for diagnosis of a short, overload or component fault; do not fit a larger fuse to mask it.

Not sure which part you need?

Send your model and year, plus photos of your existing part and any changes to the original setup.
