Restore the fuse box and its mounting details

The selected assembly replaces reference 38200-MF9-405 for the listed later-CB650 application. Check the electrical contacts and physical mounting separately, then decide whether the cover hardware also needs renewal.

Check the assembly before ordering

The featured fuse box is the normal replacement listing with 15-amp fuses supplied. Compare mounting points and wiring with the existing assembly. If a circuit repeatedly blows a fuse, investigate the fault before assuming a new box will correct it.

Count the cover hardware

The separate cover-screw package contains two black screws. Inspect the cover and screw locations as well as the fuse contacts while the box is accessible. Damaged surrounding mounts or altered wiring may need attention beyond the components in this guide.

Ordering questions

What should I do if a fuse keeps blowing?

Use only the rating specified for that circuit and motorcycle. Repeated fuse failure calls for diagnosis of a short, overload or component fault; do not fit a larger fuse to mask it.

What needs checking before a replacement fuse box is energized?

Disconnect the battery, then inspect the old box, terminals and nearby harness for heat damage, corrosion, loose connections or pinched wiring. Correct the underlying fault before energizing the replacement.

What matters when comparing a discounted damaged-tab box?

Inspect how the box must mount and consider the disclosed damage before choosing a discounted item. The normal assembly is featured here; no improvised mounting method is recommended.
