Frequently Asked Questions

What tank thread and Honda OEM reference does the fuel petcock use?

One petcock with an M16 x 1.5 tank connection is included and cross-references Honda OEM 16950-425-025 for the listed 1979-1980 Honda CB650 and CB750.

What should be compared before installing the replacement petcock?

Confirm the tank thread diameter and pitch, sealing arrangement, outlet direction, hose size and lever clearance against the original valve.

What should be tested after fuel-petcock installation?

Use fuel-compatible hose and seals, confirm OFF stops flow and ON/RES operate correctly, then leak-test the tank joint, valve body and hose connection before riding.
