Replace your DOHC CB's factory ignition spark units with this Aftermarket Ignition Spark Unit, an affordable alternative to the Honda OKI or NEC units. Replaces OEM #30400-MA4-601. Fits the 1979-82 CB750 family, CB750SC Nighthawk, CB900 family, CB1000C, CB1100F, and CB650 family.

Two spark units are used per bike, order the quantity you need.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many Honda 30400-MA4-601 ignition spark units are included and required?

One replacement spark unit is included. Each compatible motorcycle uses two ignition spark units, so two are required to replace both original OKI or NEC units.

Can one failed spark unit affect only part of a four-cylinder engine?

Yes. Each unit controls one ignition channel and its paired cylinders, so a failed unit can cause loss of spark on one cylinder pair. Confirm coils, pulse generators, wiring and grounds before replacing it.

Should both ignition spark units use compatible replacements?

Use electrically compatible units and compare connectors and mounting with Honda OEM 30400-MA4-601. Diagnose both channels and follow the ignition-system instructions during installation.
