Upgrade your valve guides with this High-Performance Kibblewhite Intake or Exhaust Valve Guide (standard size). Made in the USA by Kibblewhite, who have been making high-quality performance parts for 75+ years.

Kibblewhite uses copper-based C63000 nickel-aluminum bronze as a material for these bronze valve guides because of its ideal characteristics for the application. The 5% nickel content provides superior resistance to wear, and the approximately 80% copper content delivers outstanding heat conductivity. Kibblewhite guide profiles are designed to have minimal effect on the airstream while maintaining critical cross-sectional thickness in high-temperature areas, which promotes high performance and endurance.

These are shoulder-style Kibblewhite guides and do not use separate OEM-style valve-guide clips

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need separate valve-guide clips with this Kibblewhite guide?

No. This Kibblewhite valve guide has a machined shoulder and does not use a separate OEM-style valve-guide clip. Do not order or install valve-guide clip 73-0939 with this guide. Separate clips are intended for compatible stock-style valve guides.

Does this valve guide require professional installation?

Yes. Valve-guide replacement requires precision cylinder-head work. The guide bore must be measured and properly sized after installation to establish the correct valve-stem clearance, and the valve-seat alignment must be checked. Installation should be handled by an experienced motorcycle machine shop.
