Frequently Asked Questions

Can vacuum brake bleeder 35-3050 be used with Speed Bleeders?

No. Use it with conventional bleed screws; it is specifically marked not to be used with Speed Bleeders.

How can air be kept out of the master cylinder during vacuum bleeding?

Keep the reservoir above the minimum level, draw fluid until bubbles stop, close the bleed screw before releasing vacuum and use only the brake-fluid grade specified for the motorcycle.

What must be checked before riding after brake bleeding?

Verify a firm lever or pedal, correct fluid level, leak-free fittings and proper caliper operation. Do not ride if pressure fades or air remains in the system.
