Which spoke nipples fit the six-way spoke wrench?

The wrench has six openings for spoke-nipple sizes numbered 7 through 12. These are wrench-size designations, not a statement that every motorcycle spoke uses one of them.

How can the correct spoke-wrench opening be identified?

Use the opening that fully contacts the nipple flats without rocking. A loose opening can round the soft spoke nipple and make later wheel truing difficult.

Can one loose spoke be tightened without checking the wheel?

Spoke tension affects neighboring spokes and wheel runout. Make small adjustments while checking lateral and radial runout and follow the wheel service specification.
