Frequently Asked Questions

Which header-pipe sizes fit the black shorty muffler?

It fits 1 1/2 and 1 3/4-inch header pipes using its inlet or included reducer shims. Measure the header outside diameter and check chassis clearance before installation.

What mounting and baffle parts are included?

The supplied mounting parts are described with the product, and the muffler uses a removable glass-pack baffle. Confirm the joint does not leak and the bracket carries the muffler without stressing the header.

How many black shorty mufflers are included?

One muffler is included and it can mount on either side when the bracket and chassis clearances permit. A dual-muffler motorcycle requires two to replace both sides.
