The 1977 Hondamatic filler cap includes its rubber gasket but no chain. The genuine Honda outer lid is an Excel Black cover-only part with separate hardware requirements. The petcock needs an independent M16 × 1.5 tank-thread check.

The selected genuine Honda lid is 17531-405-000ZB, Excel Black. It excludes latch, lock, hinge hardware, seal, tank molding and related mounting pieces. Check the fitted tank style and the condition of those pieces before ordering the cover alone.

Inspect the tank’s mounting and trim separately

The front cushion is sold each, with two used per bike. The separate chrome trim set supplies two strips, approximately 21.5 inches long by 5/8 inch wide, and is not an exact stock replica. Choose those mounting and finish parts independently of the cap or lid.
