Honda CB Sprockets for Final-Drive Service

Front and rear sprockets transfer engine power through the drive chain to the rear wheel. Worn or hooked teeth can prevent the chain from engaging smoothly and accelerate wear throughout the final-drive system. Sprockets should be inspected alongside the chain, because fitting a new chain to badly worn sprockets can shorten the service life of the replacement parts.

This collection includes steel front sprockets, rear sprockets, countershaft lock plates, retaining washers, rear-sprocket hardware and holding tools. Honda CB applications use different tooth counts, mounting patterns and chain sizes, including 530 and 630 configurations. A sprocket must match the motorcycle, wheel or countershaft fitting and installed chain. Tooth-count changes also alter the final-drive ratio, so riders restoring original operation should confirm the stock specification for their particular model and year.
