Hi Guys,
This is a 1978 CB750K that was purchased from a junk yard in Dallas on 02/01/2012. To say it was a junk yard dog would be an understatement. The thing that caught my attention was that all of the original items (except the exhaust) were still on the bike and there was no rust on the chrome or in the tank.
I broke this bike down to every nut, bolt, gear, and screw. It has been sandblasted, powder coated, overhauled, polished and painted. I have no idea how many hours I have invested, but nothing was left untouched (even down to the Instrument Cluster) . It was completed on 07/5/2012.
I used many items from Vintage including the very hard to find, wiring harness. The bike is painted a metallic white with metallic silver stripes. It looks much better in person than it does in the picture. At this time it starts, runs, and rides like a factory fresh motorcycle.
There is not another model that will create the harmony of sound that a CB750 with four exhaust pipes will make. I cannot get thru a ride without someone stopping me to talk about this bike. This Honda CB750 is "a dream come true"
